We've got You on Your heels
Whiteboard Wednesdays:
Why do we look at your heels, shoes, and gait. Neuromechanically speaking, the heel bone itself is a major contributor to ascending postural control. How your heel hits the ground determines what muscle turn on at the hip and spine. Making sure that you can evert the heel bone, or having shoes that help facilitate eversion will set you on the right path...literally.
